“Navigator L” is a machine-building company with a well-developed infrastructure and established partnerships.
The company’s main activities:
– Nuclear power (in particular, manufacturing hydrogen seals for generator shafts, cathode and anode rectifier blocks, cathode and anode fuse blocks, high-speed rotating fuses and Si diodes), manufacturing heat exchangers for turbines, generators and transformers.
– Hydropower (manufacturing and repair of turbochargers for cooling the generator capsule, turbine and generator sliding bearings, restoration of hydraulic turbine impellers)
– Chemical industry (manufacturing of plain bearings for compressors of ammonia lines, crankshafts for piston compressors of gas synthesis lines, mechanical seals and labyrinth seals for gas turbines in large-capacity ammonia production lines)
– Oil and gas industry (production of gas-lift equipment, manufacturing of 5G-25-35 valves and repair kits for them and a hydraulic tightening kit for covering drilling platforms)
– Aerospace industry (manufacturing of various power brackets for moving parts of aircraft wings and restoration of landing gear elements)
– Metallurgy (foundry production of bronze, brass, aluminum, and any alloys according to the order, iron casting, steel casting)
– General mechanical engineering (manufacturing of extrusion dies, dies and molds, casting pans)
– Engineering services (development of design and technical documentation according to the client’s specifications, calculation of the strength of materials and structures, testing of the strength of materials).
Company’s history
The company’s history dates back to 1992. On the basis of a mechanical repair plant, an enterprise to manufacture spare parts and repair equipment for Khmelnytsky NPP was established. Later, Zaporizhzhya, Rivne and South Ukrainian NPPs became customers of the company’s products.
Over 32 years of development, Navigator L has gone from a mechanical repair plant to a machine-building company with a developed infrastructure and established partnerships.
The company was officially founded in 1995. It was comprised of three enterprises, headquartered in Kyiv.
Navigator L has been a member of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ince December 24th, 2003. And, the company has been audited and received the ISO 9001-2000 TUV certificate No. 75 100 60002 by the certification body TUV Rheinland InterCert Kft, which states that the company has implemented and applies a quality management system on the February 26th, 2004.
Our company developed a new method of finning cooler tubes, which increases the heat transfer coefficient by 1.8 times in 2010. Now our water-, oil-, and gas coolers are successfully operated in 12 countries and in Ukraine.
The company has developed a software design for calculating the installation of gas-lift valves to increase and efficiently produce oil since 2012, and has mastered the production of high-tech gas-lift valves that operate at depths of up to 4000 meters. The company is one of the three world leaders in this type of product, competing with such companies as Wetherford. 100% of its products are exported.
The company became one of the world’s top three manufacturers of hydraulic fastener extraction systems for covering hydraulic turbine covers, reactor connectors, offshore drilling platforms, and deep-sea barocamps in 2013. This system has been used in Ukraine at the Cascade of Kyiv HPPs and PSPs, and by NNEGC Energoatom for Tashlyk PSP. We have approved a program to switch to our hydraulic system for the installation and dismantling of hydraulic turbines at the Dnipro Cascade and the Dniester. This system reduces installation time by 5-7 times.
“Navigator L” has mastered the manufacture of pipeline valves directly for the nuclear power and oil and gas industries, and is one of the world’s four largest manufacturers of banding rings for high-power generators.
